This camera does unbelievable things.
This is actually about 1/20 of a larger image. Auto focus, everything auto, not tweaked at all.
It has completely changed the way I think about what’s possible in photography. OK, it was $1000, but I think it was among the best $1000 I’ve ever spent.
I recently got a tiny, new Cannon SD780 IS. The thing I like most about it is that when I get the picture into iPhoto, I can’t find anything to fix: the exposure, color balance, and saturation are all perfect. And it only cost about $200. :-)
